Leana is a Montreal based photographer.
Having grown up with family photo albums documenting her childhood, along with a bookshelf full of videotapes filmed by her mother and father, she has always loved the idea of capturing the moments that matter most — even the small ones.
At the age of 17, she found her mom’s Pentax K1000—the film camera used to take all the photos in those albums—and shot her first roll of film on it (which was half underexposed). From then on, Leana’s passion has been to give people the gift of memories and to tell their stories through pictures.
With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies and professional experience in documentary, commercial, and e-commerce photography, she creates images that feel both timeless and deeply personal. Rooted in natural light and honest storytelling, her work explores the beauty found in movement, place, and connection.
Leana is available for local photo sessions as well as lifestyle, travel, and editorial commissions; locally and abroad.
